On July 3, 2012, the AYSO National Games held an opening cermony at Thompson-Boling Arena on the University of Tennessee campus in Knoxville. More than 3,000 young athletes from all across the United States came to participate in the first such competition ever held in the state of Tennessee. In order to share a little bit of East Tennessee heritage with so many people, Indian Creek Productions, Inc., was asked to present a program of traditional Cherokee dances.
