Mark and Sherry stopped for a photo shot with Dr. Ann Rethlefsen, a professor in the college of education, who was responsible for all of the arrangements.
Mark told about the stickball game between the birds and the animals.
Sherry told her always popular version of the Cherokee story, "How the Possum Lost His Tail."
Mark presented a cornbead necklace to Cindy Killon, Winona State professor and organizer of the "Native Voices" series on campus.

In addition to speaking to Winona State classes on  diversity and education, Mark and Sherry had the opportunity to visit with the fourth graders of Jefferson Elementary School.  The children were wonderful listeners as Mark and Sherry shared with them about the culture areas of American Indians across the country.
